Cancellations
Cancellation Policy
We understand that every-so-often things come up and it’s not always possible to attend your dental appointment. In these instances we ask for at least 48 hours notice so we have the chance to give your slot over to someone else who may need it.
Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice are often unable to be filled and are subject to a fee of £1 per minute of the appointment. We will always do our best to fill any cancelled appointment spaces to avoid having to impose a fee.
Missed appointments cost the clinic, and prevent other patients benefiting from these appointments. When we have an empty chair, wages and overheads still have to be paid and the business makes a loss. The reason for cancellation fees is to avoid having to roll these costs into our treatment fees. We feel this is fairest to those patients who attend their appointments and allows us to keep our fees competitive. We appreciate your understanding.
Complaints and Suggestions
If there's something not gone quite right then we want to hear about it. Similarly, we would love to hear from you if you feel there are ways we can improve our services, or if you think we've done really well! We always strive for excellence with our dentistry and we couldn't possibly do this without the input of our members and patients. Simply call or email us and we'll be happy to help.
Regulation
Like all dental clinics in the UK, our standards are kept high through strict adherence to the standards published by the General Dental Council. Find out more about their role in regulating the dental profession, and maintaining standards for the benefits of patients by visiting their website at www.gdc-uk.org.
